Kimberli Boyd is a dancer, choreographer, movement-based educational consultant, and founder of Dancing Between the Lines (DBTL).
For more than two decades, Kimberli has helped educators, students, artists, and community members discover how movement can deepen learning, strengthen relationships, and support well-being.
As a Master Teaching Artist, she has led workshops, professional learning, and residencies nationally and internationally, helping educators integrate movement, creativity, and inquiry into meaningful learning experiences.
Kimberli serves as faculty and Co-Director of the Curriculum in Motion® Institute at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and has facilitated professional learning through the John F. Kennedy Center’s Partners in Education Program and is a master teaching artist with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts. As a United States Fulbright Specialist, she trained dance, science, mathematics, and early childhood educators in Trinidad and Tobago in movement-based approaches to teaching and learning.
In addition to her educational consulting work, Kimberli is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500), Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), certified meditation instructor, and wellness educator with advanced clinical training in integrative medicine and pain management.
Known for her calming presence, creative leadership, and ability to make movement accessible to all learners, Kimberli believes that meaningful learning begins when people are invited to actively participate in the experience.
